On June 30, the ammonium sulfate commodity index was 88.28, which was the same as previous day. It was 16.94% lower than the highest point of the cycle at 106.28 points (2012-05-24), and 140.87% higher than the lowest point of 36.65 points on June 23, 2014. (Note: Period refers to 2011-09-01 to present)
The price of ammonium sulfate stabilized on June 30. Domestic demand was acceptable, and foreign demand was increasing. The price of coking grade ammonium sulfate was relatively stable. Most of the enterprises producing CPL-grade ammonium sulfate were undergoing maintenance, resulting in insufficient supply and high prices. Downstream compound fertilizer companies adjusted their prices at high prices due to rising raw materials.
Market outlook
At present, the supply of ammonium sulfate is tight, and the export demand is better. The high price of urea is indirectly beneficial to the ammonium sulfate market. It is expected that the price of ammonium sulfate will rise steadily in the short term.
