At the beginning of the week, the price of seamless tubes of 20#, 108*4.5 reported 5,762.5 RMB/ton, and at the weekend at 5,777.5 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.2% from the beginning of the week and an increase of 12.79% from the beginning of the year, an increase of 33.58% year-on-year.

The price of raw tube billet rose slightly
This week, some domestic billets rose by about 50-160 RMB/ton. The ex-factory price of Changzhou Dongfang 20# hot-rolled billet was 5,570 RMB/ton, an increase of 100 RMB/ton from last week; The ex-factory price of Jiangxinguan 20# hot-rolled billet was 5,300 RMB/ton, an increase of 150 RMB/ton from last week; and the ex-factory price of Huaigang 20# hot-rolled billet was 5,640 RMB/ton, which was the same as last week.
The seamless tube price of tube factory was raised
The price of steel pipe in the tube factory rose slightly by 50-100 RMB/ton, and the ex-factory price of 108*4.5mm was 5,500-5,930 RMB/ton. The ex-factory price of Jinzhengyang seamless tube was 5,500 RMB/ton; Panjin seamless tube was 5830 RMB/ton.
Seamless tube inventory
The operating rate of 200 production lines nationwide (including 40 long-flow steel pipe plants) was 68.1%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points from last week (April 2). The total inventory was 792,000 tons, an increase of 31,000 tons from last week, and an increase of 4.07% on a week-on-week basis.
Market outlook
In summary, the market price of seamless pipes rose steadily this week. Large traders with spot on the market had some low-priced resources and considerable profits, but most small and medium-sized and no spot trading companies were in a difficult situation. Under the pressure of high prices, downstream companies can only passively accept. t is expected that the seamless pipe market will be stabilized in the near future with individual adjustments.
