Due to good demand this month, manufacturers' goods were in short supply, orders increased, and export and domestic sales demand increased significantly. Some companies said that during this period, exports and domestic sales were half and sales were smooth. According to the monitoring data of SunSirs, as of December 28, the quotations of salicylic acid industrial enterprises were mostly in the range of 11,000-15,000 RMB/ton, the quotations of pharmaceutical grade were mostly in the range of 23,000-25,500 RMB/ton, and the quotations of sublimation grade were mostly in the range of 15,000- 20,000 RMB/ton, the actual transaction was mainly negotiated.

As the raw material phenol, the domestic phenol market was weak, and the center of gravity fell again during the weekend's decline. At the beginning of the week, due to the impact of shipping schedules, there was little pressure on port inventory. Holders had a strong mentality and intended to increase their quotations, but the downstream acceptance was limited, and the supply of goods was not well traded. Although there was a large supply of supply near the weekend, the supply of domestic factories was expected to be slightly reduced. In view of the cost pressure, the quotations of the holders remained firm. But there were very few market enquiries and very few transactions. SunSirs expects the domestic phenol market to be weak.

Among them, there were 2 products that have increased by more than 5%, accounting for 2.2% of the number of monitored products in this sector; the top 3 commodities for increase were formic acid (9.42%), propylene glycol (5.02%), and ECH (4.11%).A total of 30 products fell month-on-month, and 9 products fell more than 5%, accounting for 9.8% of the number of monitored products in this sector; the top 3 products that fell were silicone DMC (-21.84%) and bisphenol A ( -9.91%), OX (-9.09%). The average increase and decrease this week was -0.69%.
