★Monthly lead output from January to November 2020 will reach 5.728 million tons

Data released by the National Bureau of Statistics show that China's lead production in China in November was 628,000 tons, an increase of 8.3% year-on-year; from January to November, lead production was 5.728 million tons, an increase of 8.3% year-on-year.

★164,000 tons of excess supply in the global lead market

According to data from the International Lead and Zinc Research Group (ILZSG), the global lead market was short of 8,000 tons in October 2020, and 300 tons in September 2020. From January to October 2020, the global lead supply has a surplus of 164,000 tons, while a shortage of 42,000 tons in the same period in 2019.

★Global refined lead production

According to data released by the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS), global refined lead production from January to October 2020 was 10.727 million tons, an increase of 3.5% over the same period last year. China's apparent demand is estimated at 5.115 million tons, an increase from the same period in 2019 331,000 tons, accounting for about 47% of the global total. From January to October 2020, apparent demand in the United States decreased by 92,000 tons year-on-year. In October 2020, refined lead production was 1,159,400 tons, and demand was 1,186,500 tons. 

★A total of 5.358 million lead-acid batteries were imported from January to November, a year-on-year decrease of 34.27%

According to data from the General Administration of Customs, China exported 15.241 million lead-acid batteries in November, an increase of 2.94% year-on-year; the cumulative export of lead-acid batteries from January to November was 151.801 million, a year-on-year decrease of 2.03%. In November 2020, 382,000 lead-acid batteries were imported, down 52.59% year-on-year; from January to November, a total of 5.358 million lead-acid batteries were imported, down 34.27% year-on-year.

★ National Hazardous Waste List (2021 Edition)

The National Directory of Hazardous Wastes (2021 Edition) was reviewed and approved by the Ministerial Meeting of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment on November 5, 2020, and this list will come into force on January 1, 2021. The National Directory of Hazardous Wastes (Order No. 39 of the Ministry of Environmental Protection) issued by the former Ministry of Environmental Protection, National Development and Reform Commission, and Ministry of Public Security shall be repealed simultaneously. Article 3 of the meeting pointed out that hazardous wastes included in the Hazardous Waste Exemption Management List in the appendix to this list can be exempted in accordance with the provisions of the exemption content when the listed exemption links are met and the corresponding exemption conditions are met. The undamaged waste lead storage battery can not be transported as hazardous waste in the transportation link if it meets the requirements of transportation defense, leakage prevention, and prevention of spillage.

★ Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste

In order to strengthen the source of waste lead storage batteries and the whole process control, the 22 pilot provinces and cities have proceeded in an orderly manner, and the recycling volume of waste lead storage batteries from social sources has increased significantly. Specially written for waste lead storage batteries-the country has established an extension system for lead storage battery producers. Manufacturers of lead-acid batteries shall, in accordance with regulations, establish a waste product recycling system that matches the sales volume of the product by self-built or commissioned methods, and disclose it to the public to achieve effective recycling and utilization. 

★China's lead concentrate production accounts for 47% of global production

The global lead resources are mainly distributed in Australia, China, Russia, Peru and other countries. China produced 2.1 million tons of lead concentrate in 2019, accounting for 47% of global production, but its reserves accounted for only 20% of global production

★DaShang: Free of related handling fees
