Compared with this Monday (November 9), the average price was increased by 933 RMB/ton, an increase of 4.10%; compared with November 1, the average price increased by 3,300 RMB/ton, an increase of 16.18%; compared with October 1, the average price was increased by 5,900 RMB/ton, an increase of 33.15%.

On the 11th of this week, a small number of silicone DMC factories set off a rising trend, and the price exceeded 24,000 RMB/ton

Entering this week, the overall trend of the silicone DMC market is still at a high level, and the phenomenon of reluctance to sell and the closure has not improved. On the 9th of the week, a small number of silicone DMC offer factory prices continued to increase by 300-500 RMB/ton, and factory inventory was still low, supply was tight, orders was limited. Until the middle of the week, most of the factories still closed and did not report, and a few quotation factories increased their silicone DMC quotations again by 500-1,300 RMB/ton, and the factory quotation of silicone DMC in Shandong increased to 24,000-24,200 RMB/ton.

On the downstream side, at present, many of the downstream raw rubber and silica gel factories of silicone DMC are not reported. The raw materials’ price continues to rise, the pressure on the cost of raw silica gel is increasing, and the market price continues to rise. It is expected that the raw silicone rubber market will continue to run at a high level in the short term.

Short supply has not eased, and silicone DMC still has room for upside

At present, the inventory of the silicone DMC market is low, the supply exceeds demand, and the downstream demand gap is large. The industry continues to increase sentiment. In the short term, the trend of the silicone DMC market will continue to be strong and there is still room for upside.
