According to the monitoring of SunSirs, on September 8, the average price of paraformaldehyde (96) in Shandong area was 4,466 RMB/ton, and the average price last week was 4,433 RMB/ton, an increase of 0.75%.

Analysis review   

Shandong Aldehyde Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 30,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) is 4,600 RMB/ton including tax, which is the same as last week. Linyi Shengyang Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 9,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) is 4,200 RMB/ton including tax, which is 100 RMB/ton higher than last week. Zibo Qixing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd., with an annual output of 10,000 tons of paraformaldehyde, the ex-factory price of paraformaldehyde (96) is 4,600 RMB/ton including tax, which is the same as last week. The price of paraformaldehyde was adjusted in some areas, and the price went up. The sales of paraformaldehyde are average.

In the upstream methanol situation, the domestic methanol market continued to rise on September 7, and some manufacturers increased their ex-factory quotations by about 30-50 RMB/ton. The upstream raw material methanol was positively supported, and the price of paraformaldehyde rose up.

Market outlook

Boosted by the good raw materials, the paraformaldehyde analysts of SunSirs believe that the price of paraformaldehyde may rise mainly.
