Price trend

According to SunSir’s data, the average price of nitric acid in East China this weekend was 1,500 RMB/ton, and the average price at the beginning of the week was 1,516 RMB/ton, down 1.1%.

Analysis review   

Product: The price of concentrated nitric acid was weak. Jiangsu Hongze Yinzhu Chemical offered 1,300-1,400 RMB/ton, which was the same as last week; Anhui Jinhe offered 1,350-1,400 RMB/ton, which was 50 RMB/ton lower than last week; Shandong Helitai Chemical Co., Ltd. offered 1,700 RMB/ton, which was flat compared with last week; nitric acid market trading was weak.

Industrial chain: Upstream liquid ammonia, this week (4.20-23), the domestic liquid ammonia market fell slightly, most manufacturers stabilized, and some manufacturers were affected by inventory pressure, slightly lowering their quotations, and there were successive downward adjustments during the week, ranging from 50-100 RMB/ton; Downstream aniline, prices fell down this week.

Market outlook

In summary, the negative factors are suppressing, and the nitric acid analysts of SunSirs expect that it will continue to operate mainly weakly.
