According to the monitoring of SunSirs, the average price of paraformaldehyde  (96) in Shandong Province at the end of this week was 4,233 RMB/ton, and the average price at the beginning of this week was 4,200 RMB/ton, up 0.79%.)

Product: Shandong Aldehyde Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 30,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The ex-factory quoted price of paraformaldehyde (96) is 4,000 RMB/ton, which is the same as last week. Linyi Shengyang Chemical Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 9,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The price of paraformaldehyde (96) ex-factory including tax is 4,100 RMB/ton, which is the same as last week. Zibo Qixing Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 10,000 tons of paraformaldehyde. The ex-factory quoted price including tax of paraformaldehyde (96) is 4,600 RMB/ton, which is 100 RMB/ton higher than last week. Some paraformaldehyde manufacturers' quotations rose, and the market demand was general.

Industrial chain:In the upstream methanol situation, the domestic methanol market rebounded and began to rise. According to the price monitoring of SunSirs, the average domestic methanol market price on April 1 was 1,600 RMB/ton, and the domestic methanol market price on April 8 was 1,715 RMB/ton, an increase of 7.19%. The price decreased by 13.38% from the same period last month and decreased 29.37% from the same period last year.

Market outlook

Analysts of paraformaldehyde of SunSirs believe that paraformaldehyde may rise on the positive boost of raw material methanol.
