Price trend
On February 6, the ex-factory price of calcium carbide in northwest China was 3,700.00 RMB/ton, a slight decrease, down 2.20% from February 3, and down 12.60% from the same period last year.
Analysis review
The price of raw material blue charcoal fell slightly, and the cost support of calcium carbide was not enough. The downstream PVC market had declined slightly recently, and the enthusiasm of downstream customers for carbide procurement had weakened.
Market outlook
In the future, it is expected that the ex-factory price of calcium carbide in the northwest region will fall slightly in shock, mainly sorting: the average price quoted by manufacturers is about 3,650 RMB/ton.
