SunSirs: China's Tire Exports Fell Month on Month, and the Total Export Volume Kept Growing in November

On December 20, the General Administration of Customs released tire export data for November 2022. The data shows that China's tire export fell in November on a month on month basis, but the total export volume has kept growing since 2022, especially the average export price has kept rising significantly. At present, the epidemic prevention and control policy has been continuously adjusted, and domestic tire enterprises have gone abroad to grab orders in order to prepare for later export.

In November 2022, China's rubber tire exports totaled 570,000 tons, a month on month decrease of 50,000 tons and a year-on-year decrease of 15.8%; The export value was 10.32 billion RMB, down 2.8% year on year, and the average export price remained rising year on year. In November, the export volume of new pneumatic rubber tires was 550,000 tons, a month on month decrease of 50,000 tons and a year-on-year decrease of 15.7%; The export value was 9.88 billion RMB, down 2.6% year on year. Calculated by the number of tires, the export volume of new pneumatic rubber tires in November was 40.72 million, a year-on-year decrease of 470,000, or 22.6%.

From January to November 2022, the cumulative export volume of China's rubber tires will be 6.99 million tons, an increase of 5.1% year on year (the same below), 2.4 percentage points less than the previous 10 months; The export value was 119.574 billion RMB, up 16.4%. In the first 11 months of this year, 6.73 million tons of new pneumatic rubber tires were exported, up 5.4%; The export value was 114.41 billion RMB, up 16.9%. Calculated by the number of tires, 506.7 million new pneumatic rubber tires were exported from January to November, down 6%.
